Leftover Turkey Pot Pie<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ingredients:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • 5 TBSP margarine<\/li>\n
  • 5 TBSP all-purpose flour<\/li>\n
  • \u00bc cup chopped onion<\/li>\n
  • \u00bc tsp pepper<\/li>\n
  • 1 \u00bec low salt chicken broth<\/li>\n
  • 2\/3 c milk<\/li>\n
  • 3c cooked diced turkey<\/li>\n
  • 1 \u00bd cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed<\/li>\n
  • 2-9inch pie crust, ready to bake<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Preparation:<\/h3>\n

    1. Heat margarine in 2-quart saucepan over low heat until melted.<\/p>\n

    2. Stir in flour, onion, and pepper.<\/p>\n

    3. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture is bubbly; remove from heat then stir in broth and milk.<\/p>\n

    4. Place back on the heat, until boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.<\/p>\n

    5. Stir in turkey and vegetables.<\/p>\n

    6. Roll 2\/3 of pie crust into a 13-inch square, ease into greased 9-inch square pan.<\/p>\n

    7. Pour turkey mixture into pan.<\/p>\n

    8.Roll remaining pastry out into an 11-inch square. Place square over filling, turn edges under
    \nand crimp.<\/p>\n

    9. Cut vents in the top of the pie.<\/p>\n

    10. Bake at 425\u2019F until golden brown, about 35 minutes.<\/p>\n
