Our articles carry the name and credentials of the registered dietitian who wrote them:

Where our recipes come from
The recipes on KidneyChef are used with permission from ARA. Each recipe page shows the complete ingredient list, numbered preparation steps and the per-serving nutrition notes (calories, sodium, potassium and phosphorus) published with the original recipe. If a value wasn’t published, we leave it out rather than estimate it.
An important note
Kidney disease is managed individually. The right amount of sodium, potassium, phosphorus, protein and fluid for you depends on your stage of CKD, your lab results, your medications and whether you are on dialysis. Use KidneyChef for ideas and education, and make decisions with your nephrologist and renal dietitian. See our medical disclaimer and editorial policy.
